Coming Out of the Closet

My “closet bass player” friend and I had a long conversation today about music, perfection, overcoming fear, and doing what you love.  She encouraged me to “come out of the closet” with my guitar.  It was a very healing talk.  I know that I don’t need any more information, analysis, or reflection on the issue.  I just need to do it.  We are going to schedule a jam session (which I have talked about before but never did) with other musicians we know.  We are supporting each other in doing what we love.  This is what helping others along the path is all about.

I'd love to hear your thoughts...
